First Communion
Ages:
Most children begin preparation for First Communion about age seven, while in the second grade.
Others begin preparation for First Communion at later ages. Our Lady of Belén has classes to accommodate both situations.
Preparation Time:
Children must be enrolled and attend classes for two years
(First Communion 1 and First Communion 2), usually during their second and third grade school years.
Parent Meetings and Retreat:
On the third Wednesday of every month is a mandatory Parent Formation class from
4:30 to 6 PM and two additional Parent/Child meetings which Father teaches
